β’ πππ₯ππ§ππ was once home to one of the worldβs first residential universities, attracting scholars from across the globe. With a vast library and renowned professors, Nalanda became a beacon of knowledge, offering education in subjects like mathematics, astronomy, and medicine. Founded in the 5th century by King Kumargupta, Nalanda University is widely considered to be among the greatest centres of learning in the ancient world.
β’ Nalanada wasnβt all, there was ππ’π€π«ππ¦π¬π‘π’π₯π ππ§π’π―ππ«π¬π’ππ² in eastern Bihar a Buddhist monastery and one of the world’s oldest universities. It was founded in the 8th or 9th century by King Dharmapala of the Pala dynasty.
